David grew up in a construction family. His summers, as a teenager, were spent working pouring concrete and framing homes for his uncles construction company. After school he traveled volunteering for non profit organizations. Whether it was working on a printing press in Brooklyn NY, building huts in Guyana South America, or mowing lawns for the elderly, no job was to small.
His construction management career began in 2003 at Village Builders in Dallas TX as a construction manager and warranty manager. Then opportunity arose in 2005 to run his own community at David Weekley Homes. David’s passion always to build custom homes, so when Joe Vastano called in 2011 he jumped to the opportunity.
David is very proud of his industry awards. In addition to his countless customer satisfaction and top production awards, we was also David Weekley Homes Top Builder of the Year in 2007. He attended and graduated from the Dale Carnegie Effective Communications and Human Relations Course and won several awards in the class, including the “Human Relations” award and the “Highest Award of Achievement.” However his greatest happiness is the time he spends with his wife Amy and children Ian and Ava.
